Telehealth is a rapidly expanding service delivery within all aspects of the health sector. The use of technology to connect patients to health professionals especially in rural and remote locations has demonstrated multiple advantages for both patient and health organisations in its time.
Telehealth within public and private organisations across Australia and internationally will vary in applications, equipment types, purpose and frequency of use but the clinical provision of care will remain within best practice.
