In this online professional learning course in inclusive education, you'll explore important ideas about inclusion and teaching in Australian schools, with a focus on the essential concept of disability-affirming, disability-informed education. You'll gain insights from individuals with lived experience of disability, and discover transformative inclusive education strategies to use in your classroom.

This microcredential is the first in a three-part series of inclusive education short courses. The series gives teachers and others who work with children with disabilities the confidence to navigate the increasing complexity of Australian classrooms, and to implement practical, ethical and evidence-based strategies to support all students effectively – whatever their learning needs, strengths and interests.
